Arctic Tales on Northern Waters
Join us for an informative boat tour of Yellowknife Bay with a guest storyteller. Learn the history of the land, hear stories from the gold mining camps and enjoy appetizers during a stop on a near-by island. This is a storytelling boat tour that will make you both laugh and exclaim, “I didn’t know that”!
The tour is approximately 2hrs in length and includes a short stop to enjoy smoked fish, biscuits and a non-alcoholic cocktail. There will be plenty of opportunities for taking photos during the tour, which begins at the Sundog Trading Post (4 Lessard Drive). The tour then travels by boat to Back Bay, Giant Mine, N’dilo, before returning home through Houseboat Bay.
Cost: $150 / person (minimum 4 people)
$125 / child (under 12).
